ComponentOne ReportViewer for ASP.NET AJAX: ReportViewer for ASP.NET AJAX Task-Based Help

ReportViewer for ASP.NET AJAX Task-Based Help

The task-based help assumes that you are familiar with programming in ASP.NET and know how to use controls in general. By following the steps outlined in the help, you will be able to create projects demonstrating a variety of ReportViewer for ASP.NET AJAX's features, and get a good sense of what the C1ReportViewer control can do.

Each topic provides a solution for specific tasks using the C1ReportViewer control. Each task-based help topic also assumes that you have created a new ASP.NET AJAX-Enabled project.

For information about using C1Report and C1PrintDocument, see the Reports for WinForms documentation.

Note: ReportViewer for ASP.NET AJAX requires Microsoft ASP.NET AJAX Extensions installed and a ScriptManager on the page before the C1ReportViewer control is placed on the page. You must create an ASP.NET AJAX-Enabled Project so that the ScriptManager and Microsoft AJAX Extensions are included on the page. For more information, see Creating an AJAX-Enabled ASP.NET Project. For more information about Microsoft ASP.NET AJAX Extensions, see http://ajax.asp.net/. For information about the ScriptManager, see MSDN.
