ActiveReports 8
EnableScriptDebugging Property
Example

Allows to catch script exceptions in the debugger. The default value is False.
Syntax
'Declaration

Public Property EnableScriptDebugging As System.Boolean
public System.bool EnableScriptDebugging {get; set;}
Remarks

The EnableScriptDebugging property should be set to True before the script code compilation, which is similar to setting it before calling the Run method in ActiveReports.

If EnableScriptDebugging is set to True, then the compiled code is stored to a .dll file in the temporary folder.

Note: Visual Studio does not support script debugging at design time preview of a report.

Example
public void SectionReport_ReportStart()
{
    // the following line of script code attaches the debugger to the script
    System.Diagnostics.Debugger.Launch();
}
Public Sub SectionReport_ReportStart()
   'the following line of script code attaches the debugger to the script
   System.Diagnostics.Debugger.Launch()
End Sub
