Gets or sets the type of calendar to use for formatting dates.

An ExpressionInfo object that evaluates to a Calendar enumeration indicating the type of calendar to use for formatting dates. Valid values are listed in the table below.

| GregorianArabic | The Gregorian calendar with Arabic strings. |
| GregorianMiddleEastFrench | The Gregorian calendar with Middle East French strings. |
| GregorianTransliteratedEnglish | The Gregorian calendar with transliterated English strings. |
| GregorianTransliteratedFrench | The Gregorian calendar with transliterated French strings. |
| GregorianUSEnglish | The Gregorian calendar with American English strings. |
| Hebrew | The Hebrew lunar calendar. |
| Hijri | The Islamic lunar calendar. |
| Japanese | The Japanese Emperial Era calendar. |
| Korea | The Korean Tangun Era calendar. |
| Taiwan | The Taiwanese Republican Era calendar. |
| ThaiBuddhist | The Thai Buddhist calendar (Gregorian months and days with Thai years and eras). |
The calendar type must be compatibile with the Language setting in the .NET framework.
